2) Herr Nilsson is a german band founded 1997 in Berlin. Their first record "Liebesleid und Fischigkeit" was recorded in a kitchen in 1998. Jan Böttcher (vocals&guitar), Peter Herzau (guitar, bass, piano) and Sebastian Windisch (piano, guitar) met Felix Bialluch (drums) in 1999 and recorded their second album "Herr Nilsson ist ausgezogen" and later on another live album called "Mein erster eigener Wasserwerfer" which was recorded during a gig in Berlins Kalkscheune.
With their new drummer Alf Schulze the next album "Einfacher sein" was released in 2003. In that time they had many gigs and articles were published in several german journals (such as SPIEGEL online, Die Welt, intro etc.)
In 2004 the lineup changed again. With Oliver Unger (bass) and Martin Kautz (drums) Herr Nilsson played more rock instead of jazzy Indie.
The band split up in 2007.
