Gang of Thieves is an unstoppable funky rock and roll machine! Hang on to your hats and get ready for an unforgettable live performance when this funky crew comes to town. Hailing out of Burlington, Vermont, the Gang has become the pinnacle of the modern day touring lifestyle, spending up to 9 months on the road each year. The band is getting ready to drop a brand new demo, as they hit the road hard this winter on their Mothership Tour of the country! Starting the tour in the Northeast, the Gang will make their way south to Austin Texas in March for that oh so exciting four letter festival (we like to call it BandByVanWest) before hitting the west coast to record a full length album with grammy winning producer Michael Rosen (Rancid, Papa Roach, Less Then Jake)
Originally formed in January 2009, Gang of Thieves has endured a wild three year ride of DIY nation-wide tours and both self produced and professional recordings. While the origin and beginnings of the Gang are remembered fondly and key to making the band who they are today, only recently did they become the powerhouse group they were meant to be. This is largely in part to the addition of guitarist Leonard Sokol and drummer Deven Massarone. The raw talent, musical intuition, and dedication to the touring lifestyle both new members bring finally have completed the Gang as the face of the Rock and Roll future in America.
