History
De Fabriek began in 1977 as a collective project. Their goal was to do minimal experimental music. You could see this minimal thing in the products themselves - Limited copies with special packages.
In the beginning, they worked with toy instruments and other self built machines, doing what you could call "Musique Concrete". Later on they began using more modern equipment.
