Philip Sanderson

Philip Sanderson first began releasing music in the late 1970s under a variety of band names and pseudonyms including: Storm Bugs (a project which often involved collaboration with Steven Ball), Vote Police, Ice Yacht and, Claire Thomas & Susan Vezey.

During this period Philip also ran Snatch Tapes on of the first DIY Cassette labels. Snatch Tapes released tracks by David Jackman (later of Organum), The Lemon Kittens, the Beach Surgeons (led by a young Graham Massey, later of 808 State), Alien Brains, Claire Thomas & Susan Vezey and of course Storm Bugs.
