History Buster

There are at least seven artists with the name Buster.

1: An indie Folk/Rock trio based in Las Angeles and Nashville, fronted by Phoebe Bridgers

2: A Ska band from Quebec consisting of: Émile Déraspe on bass, Marc-André Jeaurond on trumpet and trombone, Alexandre Richard on guitar and lead vocals & Jean-Benoit Pealey on guitar and vocals.

3: A pop/rock band from Portland, OR, circa 1981-1983, fronted by Los Angeles singer/guitarist Gregg Gill (1956-2004), a former guitarist for Eddie Money and for Sandy West of The Runaways.

4: A folk/experimental musician from Milwaukee, WI. He is also a member of the band Partisan.

5: A street punk/pogo band from South Korea.

6: A teenybopper glamrock band from the mid-seventies, originating in Liverpool but primarily famous in Japan. They enjoyed some popularity as an alternative to the Bay City Rollers. Hits include Sunday, I´m a Fool, Beautiful Child, Dance With Me, Goodbye Paradise, Love Breaker, and Who Told You.

7: A second British glam rock band who did the song Superstar, lately included in several Junkshop Glam compilations. Known members of this band include Adrian Baker and Roy Morgan.
