Ali Akgün was born in Istanbul in 1976. His family saw his interest in music and bought him a classical guitar as a gift. He received classical guitar training in Doğulu Müzik Evi till he was 10. At the time he bought an electric guitar as a result of Heavy Metal influence. In 1990 at the age of 14, he formed his Death Metal band named Andromeda. He was the vocalist and the guitar player of the band. They performed in several festivals and concerts with many important heavy metal bands. Later he took interest in other genres and left the band he formed and started to enjoy electronic music.
Year 1995; Ali was introduced to Psychedelic Trance via the cassettes and CD’s sent by a friend abroad. He was impressed by them and he started working with his music using different instruments and an electronic basis influenced by his Heavy Metal background. Firstly he started checking out different old school Goa Trance albums that are released between 94’ and 98. In year 2000 Ali attended Akademi Istanbul and started studying Music and Sound Technology.
