Biography :
Simply put EOD was born in 1983 in the meeting:
_ Thierry Leray (Conspiracy, Raendom, Edward Nenez ...) said AE guitarist, keyboard HS 101, TB 303 bass line, drum machine TR 606 and TR 909
_ Didier Perichon (...) Moog keyboards and SH 9 then 106 and Sixtrack Juno, Korg Polysix.
Eric Trochu (Torri Kami, Arkan, Ana Ata Kik, ConnectiCat ERT Ana Kronic, Lamour, Kakashi, Conspiracy, ...) said ERT voice harmonizer and delay.
Two founding dates for the sequel, The Blue Wick (legendary club in the Cotes d'Armor) and Transmusicales 1983 (third concert of the group).
After the concert of the Blue Wick, Nikolai (ADA Possémé Francis, Bronswick Conspiracy, Mars Drive, ...) we did meet with the label manager of Christian Madrigal Bordarier (Wagram today), we proposed to save our first disk (Sahrah in "English" for text, voice and speech in automatic writing) than listening to the concert recording of Blue Wick.
Francis Possémé was artistic producer on vinyl, as assistant, Yves André Lefeuvre (Bruno Green, Miossec, Santa Cruz, Dahlia, ...) took three days recording and mixing two, it was our first studio experience .
The public reception was very encouraging, I still get mail from France and Norway ... of 'Fans' by my website and we are still mixed by a DJ in New York today, 20 years later.
Several major concerts followed Nights Traverse (Reims), ... Brittany: Brest with Tanith, Conspiracy, Quimper Quintin Ploermel, Rennes, Nantes, Evreux, Paris, ... ...
In 1984-1985, Pascal A's and Normal Pascal Pascal Bence real name (former Red Orchestra bassist and drummer, respectively) joined us for the creation of the show Quartz with contemporary dance troupe by Gigi Cacciulianu (choreographer of the National Theatre dance of Brittany). We toured with this show until 1986, France (Marseille, Clermont-Ferrand, Rennes, Aulnoy Aymerie, Ludwigshaffen room, Rennes Villeurbanne outdoors, ...) and Germany.
Dates postponed to 1987 in Sicily and a week at the Parc de la Villette in Paris (1986) canceled the day before the split shows the group rushed worn (yet) financially and consequently fragile psychologically.
A second disk (in your world, in French, 1985) was recorded at Yellow Dog in Paris with Demon Edge and finished with another person at the Senon Breteche, the first collaboration for having some of the group went badly and the second turning to a production "variety" unbearable for others, the worm was in the fruit.
Result, catching up not really succeeded either totally missed that satisfied no one.
Other members musical came to replace the departure of Pascal Normal late 1985 and that of Pascal A's in 1986, Yannick Jorry (saxophonist ébourifant, Worst, Decoufflé, ...) and Michel Zinzin (percussionist talented, who died a few years later).
We were shooting in two forms, the show called Quartz and the more traditional concerts.
A third album was almost ready (in English), Madrigal declined the proposal even if Peter Martin (producer renowned art was ready to embark on the project). Thierry has still unreleased in the group and perhaps one day we will emerge if these strong demand made itself felt?
