Antonio Hardy (born September 10, 1968), better known as Big Daddy Kane, is an American rapper, producer, and actor. He launched his career in 1986 as a member of the influential Juice Crew. Big Daddy Kane is widely recognized for his technical prowess, intricate lyricism, and dynamic stage presence, establishing him as a significant figure in hip-hop history.
His 1988 debut album, Long Live the Kane, quickly established his presence in the music scene. This was followed by a string of successful albums, including It's a Big Daddy Thing (1989), Taste of Chocolate (1990), and Prince of Darkness (1991). His work continued with releases such as Looks Like a Job For... (1993), Daddy's Home (1994), and Veteranz Day (1998).
