Charlie Puth

Charles Otto Puth Jr. is an American pop singer, songwriter, and record producer who first gained recognition through the viral success of his song covers and original videos on YouTube. Known for his technical musicality and perfect pitch, Puth’s early career was marked by an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which led to a signing with the label eleveneleven. While he initially focused on songwriting and producing for other artists, his potential as a solo performer quickly caught the attention of Atlantic Records.

In 2015, Puth released his debut single, "Marvin Gaye," featuring Meghan Trainor. The track served as a successful introduction to his retro-pop sensibility, but his massive global breakthrough arrived later that year with "See You Again." Co-written and co-produced by Puth as a tribute to actor Paul Walker for the Furious 7 soundtrack, the collaboration with Wiz Khalifa became a cultural phenomenon. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks and earned multiple Grammy nominations, catapulting Puth into international stardom.
