Rebecca Claire Hill, professionally known as Becky Hill, is an English singer and songwriter born on February 14, 1994. She first gained national attention as a contestant on the inaugural series of the BBC talent competition The Voice UK. Auditioning with John Legend's "Ordinary People," she joined Jessie J's team and advanced to the semi-finals. In 2014, Hill achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first and, to date, only contestant from The Voice UK to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart with Oliver Heldens' track "Gecko (Overdrive)." Her career has been marked by numerous accolades, including two Brit Award nominations in 2022 for British Song of the Year ("Remember" with David Guetta) and Best Dance Act, an award she subsequently won in both 2022 and 2023.

Born in Worcestershire, Hill began her musical journey at age 14. She performed in a band named Shaking Trees, which garnered support from BBC Introducing. The band received airplay on BBC Hereford & Worcester and performed at the Nozstock Festival of Performing Arts. Hill is also a noted supporter of Walsall F.C.
