Belinda Peregrín Schüll, known professionally as Belinda, is a Spanish-Mexican singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. Born in Madrid, Spain, on August 15, 1989, she launched her music career in 2003 with the release of her self-titled debut album, Belinda, under Sony BMG and RCA Records. The album, released in Mexico City, achieved significant success, selling 2.5 million copies worldwide, particularly in Mexico.

Produced by Graeme Pleeth, Belinda featured popular singles such as "Lo Siento," "Boba Niña Nice," "Angel," and "Vivir." The latter was also selected as the theme song for the soap opera Corazones al límite, in which Belinda made a brief appearance. The album had several versions released, including a repackaged edition with an additional track featuring Andy & Lucas, an enhanced version with remixes and multimedia content, and a special edition with a CD and DVD. Currently, the original Belinda and Belinda (Enhanced) are the only versions available, with others being limited editions.
