Formed in the summer of 2006 in Nottinghamshire, UK, Master Charger initially began as a three-piece band. By 2008, they expanded their lineup with a second guitarist, enriching their sound. Influenced by a diverse musical spectrum, Master Charger fuses 1970s rock with punk and metal elements, adding a psychedelic twist and downtuned, heavy grooves. This blend creates a raw rock and roll energy.
The band quickly developed enough material for their debut album, titled "Southbound N' Supercharged." Since its release, Master Charger has been actively performing live, aiming to connect with a broad audience through their unique approach to heavy music, which offers a retro feel with a fresh, modern sensibility.
