Christopher Gallant, known mononymously as Gallant, is an American singer-songwriter hailing from Columbia, Maryland. Born in 1992, he embarked on his music career in Los Angeles in the fall of 2013. Gallant first gained attention with his independently released debut EP Zebra in 2014, which he characterized as a "sonic diary about dealing with the aftermath of New York." His single "Weight in Gold" garnered significant notice in 2015. He is currently signed to the indie record label Mind of a Genius.
His debut full-length album, Ology, was released on April 6, 2016.
