Subtronics

Subtronics, born Jesse Kardon on December 23, 1992, is a prominent electronic music producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, known for his distinctive heavy bass sound. Initially operating under the alias Arkitect in early 2011, Kardon transitioned to the Subtronics moniker due to branding and usage considerations. His musical direction solidified between late 2012 and early 2013, marking a period of significant growth in his production skills.

His early work includes the "Cataclysm EP," released in April 2012 on Ordinance Records. This EP featured the original track "Cataclysm" alongside a remix by lovestep producer Jenga. Following this release, Subtronics developed the "Corruption EP," which was issued on Tectonik Records, a sub-label of Ordinance Records. The "Corruption EP" garnered attention from artists such as JPhelpz, Xaebor, Inval3d, and Obridium.
