Deluxx Folk Implosion

Deluxx Folk Implosion was a collaborative project that emerged from the convergence of established underground musicians. The group featured Lou Barlow, known for his work with Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh, alongside John Davis of The Folk Implosion. Completing the lineup were Bob Fay and Mark Peretta, members of the band Deluxx.

This unique ensemble came together to record a single during the same period they were contributing music to the soundtrack for the popular television series KIDS. The project represented a brief but notable intersection of their respective musical careers.
