History

Эдипов Комплекс

Emerging in the mid-1990s, Эдипов Комплекс quickly gained recognition, being named one of the best new rock bands by Rock-Fuzz Magazine. Their music received significant airplay on numerous Russian radio stations, and they were featured on a UK compilation disc showcasing top unsigned bands. At the height of their initial success, the members pursued other musical endeavors, a common path for many rock musicians.

Resurgence and Current Projects

Эдипов Комплекс has since reunited as a side project. The band members are actively involved in well-known Russian music scenes, playing with bands such as Сплин, Танцы Минус, and Сети. Their collective experience is extensive, including supporting The Rolling Stones during their Moscow concert, performing live at Trafalgar Square in London, and participating in the Russian Winter Festival.

Recent Releases and Collaborations

The band's new single, "Space Shuttle," has achieved a spot in the Top 20 on Radio Maximum, a prominent Russian network radio station. Эдипов Комплекс has completed the mixing process for their upcoming album and has been signed by Moscow-based record label Navigator Records for releases in Russia and the CIS. Their album, Lost&Found, was released in May 2008. One of the tracks features a collaboration with Peter Freudenthaler, the frontman of Fool's Garden.
