Edith Márquez

Edith Márquez, born January 27, 1973, is a Mexican singer and actress known for her dramatic mezzo-soprano vocal range. She was born in Mexico City.

Márquez launched her solo career in 1998 with her debut album, Frente a Ti. The album was a significant success, selling over 250,000 copies and earning her a Gold Record. It featured hit singles such as “Mi error, mi fantasía,” “Mírame,” and “Por hablarle de ti,” establishing her as a prominent artist in Spanish-language music. The Gold Record was presented to her by the renowned Spanish singer Rocío Dúrcal.
