The Struts are an English rock band hailing from Derby, Derbyshire. Formed in 2010, the current lineup features vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies. The band's origins trace back to Spiller and Slack, who began writing and recording together after their previous musical projects dissolved. They later joined forces with bassist Jamie Binns and drummer Rafe Thomas to complete the initial formation.
Drawing inspiration from legendary acts such as Queen, the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and The Libertines, The Struts have carved out a distinctive sound. Critics have described their music as "unabashedly over the top retro-fetishist classic rock," "glamorous and dangerous." They are recognized for their ability to blend homage to classic rock with a modern sensibility, offering a hook-laden glam sound that has been seen as potentially igniting a rock revival.
