SG Lewis is a British producer, songwriter, and DJ recognized for his atmospheric and emotive electronic dance music. He first gained notice for his remixes of artists like Jessie Ware before releasing his debut EP, Shivers, in 2015. Lewis has since collaborated with various vocalists, including Gallant, Ray BLK, and Bishop Nehru. In 2018, he launched a three-part EP series dedicated to club culture, beginning with Dusk.
Hailing from Reading, England, SG Lewis developed an early interest in music during his teenage years, playing in several bands. His musical journey shifted towards electronic production as he began experimenting with remixes. Influenced by the introspective sounds of Bon Iver and James Blake, alongside the club-ready hip-hop of artists such as Common, Timbaland, and The Neptunes, Lewis started sharing his own atmospheric tracks online. This led to a dedicated following and a DJ residency at London's Chibuku Club.
