History

Saint Agnes

Saint Agnes emerges from London's music scene, forging a distinct and rebellious sound within the modern alternative metal landscape. Their music draws inspiration from the raw intensity of Nine Inch Nails, the unpredictable genre fusion of Poppy, and the evocative, cinematic storytelling of Lorde. The band crafts music intended for diverse settings – the club, the stage, and the introspection of the void, characterized by its deliberate, elegant, and seductive qualities.

The group is fronted by Kitty A. Austen, the central creative force behind Saint Agnes. Austen's voice, vision, and dynamic presence define the band's evolving artistic identity. She balances beauty and brutality, leading Saint Agnes' reputation for intense and chaotic live performances, striking visual aesthetics, and a sound that is simultaneously heavy, hypnotic, and unashamedly dark. Operating outside conventional boundaries, Saint Agnes creates art that resonates with the present while aiming for timeless depth.

Saint Agnes has cultivated a dedicated fanbase through two EPs, two critically recognized studio albums, and accumulated over 12 million streams on Spotify. The band has garnered significant support from BBC Radio 1 and delivered powerful mainstage performances at festivals such as Download, 2000trees, and Hellfest. Further appearances at Rock for People, IOW Festival, Great Escape, and Reeperbahn Festival have solidified their prowess on stage, complemented by sold-out, energetic headline shows across the UK.

Their latest album, Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin, was released via Spinefarm Records on October 31st.
