Fangoria
Performers
Information and roles of the performers
Fangoria is an electro-pop band formed in Madrid, Spain, by the duo Alaska and Nacho Canut. Their musical journey began in 1977 as Alaska y los Pegamoides, alongside Carlos Berlanga. By 1982, the group evolved into Alaska y Dinarama.
Following Carlos Berlanga's departure in 1989, the band underwent another transformation, adopting the name Fangoria. This new moniker reflected their established interest in American B-movies, a theme evident in earlier songs such as "Mi novio es un Zombi" ("My Boyfriend Is A Zombie") and "La rebelión de los electrodomésticos" ("The household appliance rebellion"). Throughout these changes, Fangoria progressively shifted from their punk roots towards electronic pop, while consistently incorporating strong guitar elements into their live performances.
