Maná es un grupo de rock latino que se fundó el año 1986 en Guadalajara (México).
Después de que Sombrero Verde sufriese un cambio de integrantes y de nombre (Abraham Calleros sale y entra el baterista Álex González; a la vez se va Gustavo Orozco, dejando al grupo como un cuarteto). En 1986, firman con la compañía discográfica Polygram, ya bajo el nombre de MANÁ grabando un nuevo disco homónimo. De este trabajo se desprendieron los sencillos Robot, Mentirosa y Mueve tus caderas. Tuvo éxito en algunas ciudades de México, pero a pesar de representar un avance respecto a su época como Sombrero Verde no obtuvo éxito en el mercado musical nacional, aunque firmó un Disco de Oro.
