During her record-setting concert at Rogers Stadium, KAROL G became the first female solo artist to headline the venue. The singer used the massive platform to reveal the title and release date of her upcoming project, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto (which translates to "I Don’t Regret Feeling So Much"). The announcement was accompanied by the first public display of the album's official cover artwork on the stadium’s screens.

"I have an announcement to share, Toronto, and after this, I have a gift for you, too. I’ve been working on a project for a couple of months. I’ve been locked in for months making new music. For months, I’ve been preparing a segment that will form part of this tour. I want to announce that on August 7, my new album will come out. It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you. It’s called No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto."

The album is scheduled to arrive next Friday, August 7, at 12am ET. While a full tracklist has not yet been released, the artist's new single, "Matadora," which debuted on the opening night of her tour on July 24 at Soldier Field in Chicago, is expected to be included in the collection.

New Creative Direction and "Alternative Realm"

The upcoming release marks a significant aesthetic shift from her previous Tropicoqueta era, which was characterized by vibrant reds, oranges, and sunset tones. The new album cover features a "moodier" aesthetic, showing the artist with a serious, pouty expression against a baby blue background with a glittery title following her silhouette. The imagery has already drawn comparisons to the visual style of Britney Spears’ 2003 album In the Zone.

Speaking with Elle, the singer explained that the project explores an "alternative realm" and incorporates elements of R&B and more intimate sounds. She described the album as a door into her private life and personal rituals.

"This is an album that opens a door for my fans to a more intimate Carolina — in my room, I have a ritual: I put up little lights, I burn candles and incense. I want people to listen to this new album that’s coming, in their own rooms, and see what comes up for them."

The artist confessed that she is a highly sentimental person and has chosen to embrace her sensitivity through this music, inviting her audience to join her in being "a little more dramatic."

Context and Recent Success

The artist, who was originally formed in 1991, is currently in the midst of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour features guest appearances by Becky G, Greeicy, and Elena Rose on select dates. Following the Toronto show, the tour is scheduled to stop at Northwest Stadium in Washington, D.C., this Sunday night, August 2.

No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto arrives just over a year after her previous studio set, Tropicoqueta, which was released in June 2025. That album achieved significant commercial success, including:
